This case was just the color pink I wanted--it is a bit paler than the picture appears. It feels very nice to the hand and the suede inside is equally nice. The Kindle seems secure in this case, however you tilt it, and the case extends all around the Kindle enough to protect it if it is dropped. I haven't dropped it, yet, but I think the case would offer reasonable protection. It is easy to insert and remove the Kindle. Note that this case does not have the special lock-your-Kindle-in-place feature that the Amazon brand cases do, but I feel that it is still quite secure. I leave my Kindle in the case all the time, it is very easy to hold and read that way. You can even fold the left hand side of the case back and hold the whole thing in one hand, sort of like folding back the cover on a paperback novel. I'm not sure if you're supposed to do that with this case, but you certainly can. The magnetic clasp is easy to use and holds the cover closed in my purse or bag. I think such a clasp is necessary if you want to toss your Kindle into a larger bag. The only thing I didn't like about this case is the way the suede is glued on, inside the case. It isn't totally smooth and bubbles up a little bit, you can can also feel what seems like a lump of glue under suede. Everything else about the case is very well-made. -- Very nice case.
