Before I purchased this case, I checked out the video and comments on the Caselogic site. I liked what I saw. It has been easy to use. So far there seems to be enough space in the sections for my needs since I usually don't pack too many papers. It is well balanced even with papers and "stuff" in the front pockets of the case I haven't yet taken it through airport security. Only con I had that kept my stars to 4 was the handle. It seems to be a little wobbly and sometimes doesn't want to lock into place unless it's done just so. Otherwise, it is a great case. -- Caselogic CLRS Security Friendly Rolling 17 inch laptop case

I got this laptop bag to replace my old Dell bag. I travel 1-2 weeks per month, and my laptop bag takes a beating. The new Case Logic case has plenty of storage space, and I like the security friendly aspect. Every TSA security check I've gone through has let me pass my laptop through inside this bag without blinking an eye, and it is nice to not worry about the step of removing my laptop from my bag.

However, this bag has one flaw: the strap for attaching your laptop to the extended arm of the rollerboard suitcase isn't big enough. I have a TravelPro rollerboard, and the handle is almost 8" wide. But the strap on the back of my Case Logic bag was closer to 7" wide. I had to take a knife and cut a larger opening in the strap in the back so the handle can slide through the laptop bag strap, and I can wheel my suitcase & laptop bag around the airport. It's still a very tight fit, and it's a pain to squeeze the laptop bag over the handle whenever I want to carry it like that.

So it's a good bag with one flaw, which is why it's a 4 instead of a 5 star product for me.

This case no doubt worth the money! I could fit in every thing I had related to laptop - Optoma Pico projector, Ipod, Video converter, portable solar panel, tekkeon external battery pack, 2 external usb hard drives and all the cables for every thing are neatly fit inside. So, if you have a lot of accessories with your laptop and you are looking for some thing to fix every thing in one, this case is for you. I have not traveled with this case yet so, can not say whether this laptop sleeve is any good considering security check at airports.

THIS CASE IS JUST WHAT I HAD IN MIND. ONE CARRY-ON WITH ALL THE ROOM FOR THOSE MUST HAVE ITEMS. I HAVE TO GO THROUGH AIRPORTS WITH MY COMPUTER FOR WORK PURPOSES. BY THE TIME YOU GET TO THE CHECK POINT, TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES, TAKE YOUR COMPUTER OUT OF THE CASE, EMPTY YOUR POCKETS, WALK THROUGH THE DETECTOR, TAKE OFF YOUR BELT, GO AGAIN, TAKE OFF YOUR WATCH, ETC. ETC. THEN YOU REVERSE EVERYTHING. WITH THIS CASE YOU PULL OUT THE COMPUTER IN ITS SLEEVE, WORRY FREE OF DAMAGE, YOU ALREADY HAVE POCKET CHANGE IN THE BAG, AND JUST GO. THE WHEEL FEATURE IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED MAKING THOSE LONG WALKS AND RUNS FROM ONE GATE TO THE NEXT. I DON'T EVEN CARE IF SOMEONE IS LAUGHING AT ME; I KNOW THEY WILL PROBABLY OWN ONE SOMEDAY. IT WAS AFFORDABLE THROUGH AMAZON, AND JUST PLAIN SLICK TO USE. -- JUST WHAT I HAD IN MIND.
