On Sat, Dec 26th, I became the new owner of an iPhone. Naturally, I immediately started looking online for cases. I had a few criteria though.

1. Flip Case - With such a sensitive and amazing screen, the front face of the iPhone is something I naturally wanted to protect, but it seemed that most of the cases out there didn't do the job well enough. Scratch protectors are one thing, but I just wanted something more complete in protecting my new iPhone.

2. Access to all ports - I bought a flip case for my Microsoft Zune from Amazon a while back. Thing is, I couldn't utilize the hold function while the flap was closed, and the flap wouldn't function well if the earphone buds were inserted. I knew the iPhone would pose similar problems.

3. Sturdy - I'm a klutz. WHEN I drop the iPhone, I wanna know it will still keep on ticking.

With those three criteria in place, I found the Cuffu Premium Leather iPhone Case. I'm sure by the 5 Star Score you can tell I'm very pleased with my purchase, here's why.

1. Meets all criteria above - It's a flip case that covers the front screen. You might want to get a form fit screen protector to prevent any scratches though. I can listen to my favorite podcast/radio apps and still have it closed, with control of my volume. I've dropped iPhone once already and it took it like a champ. So far, so good.

2. Material - This is a very well made leather case with a felt like interior. It has a magnet clamp that closes the case shut. Like the Zune case I purchased though, I believe the internals of the case is probably cardboard or some paperlike material, and will be prone to warping over time. No big deal. Still protects it very well.

3. Camera - It has a hole for the camera to peek through, and when you place the iPhone in the case, it's perfectly set. No worries there.

4. Cheap - I paid twice as much for the Zune case. Stupid me. 8.99 with 3 dollar shipping is a steal compared to the prices you would pay at any brick-and-mortar store. I love you Amazon.

5. Fast Shipping - I swear I received this within two days. Maybe less. I forgot. But the seller is awesome.

Some other things I like about the case that I'm going to include:
- Professional looking: You would look like a tween if you take this case to business meetings.
- Hard Plastic Shell - The phone attaches perfectly and won't be difficult to handle when you need to use it.

I searched and searched for an iPhone case like this until I found this one. Almost all iPhone cases leave the most IMPORTANT part of the iPhone unprotected -the screen! Yes, I know there are screen protective films but I just hate them. They all make it harder to use the screen in my opinion. I never liked them and I still don't trust them to protect the screen from keys or a pocketknife that was unwisely put into the same pocket as the phone.

This neat little case protects the front back AND sides. It still allows the speakers to work so you can hear the phone ring or listen to MP3's without a headphone if you are near the iPhone. My last case muffled the iPhone's speakers so much that I was missing calls.

It also doesn't get in the way of the touchscreen. The iPhone snaps into a plastic shell that is attached to the leather wallet part. This is the best of both worlds and the phone is VERY protected. The last case I bought came up too far and even a little bit in front of the phone so that you couldn't get things on the very edge of the screen to push or work. No good. This case doesn't do that at all.

The camera hole lines up perfectly and I've never had any issue with it when taking pictures. In fact, you can hold the case and get a better/wider grip on the phone when using it as a camera.

The only real drawback to this case is that it makes the phone almost twice as thick as when the iPhone is naked. But thick is also protective. You could probably drop the phone many times onto concrete without worry. Thick/protection and that's what this case is for. A minor quibble is that the leather is fakey or at least cheap. What do you expect for under $10 right? This isn't something from an expensive leather shop that matches your $5000 luggage set. It isn't Corinthian leather or anything really fancy. If it were it probably would get ruined by your keys and your pocket knife anyhow. I paid $40 for my really nice leather checkbook cover. This isn't that! it is what it is, and very few iPhone cases are flip cases like this that protect both the front and the back of the phone.
