I just received this case and screen protector. The case is on my husband's iPod touch 3rd generation. He seems to like it. It definitely has a strange smell, but I think that will wear off. The product description says "clip on case," but it does not have a belt clip like I expected. The piece on the back is actually a kickstand. The kickstand unsnaps at the bottom while still being connected at the bottom to the case by a thin piece of leather. It ends up looking kind of like the easel part on the back of some picture frames. You could put it on your belt if you threaded your belt through the kickstand, possibly.

I have read reviews of other cases with magnetic closures that interfered with the iPod (made it shut off, freeze, etc.). So far, this case has not caused such problems.

I put the mirrored screen protector on my iPod touch (3rd generation). It definitely looks very cool. The plastic is thick, so it's easy to apply with few or no bubbles (I had 3 bubbles along the edge, which were easy to remove.) It also doesn't show fingerprints nearly as much as the screen does without a protector, although it does still show fingerprints. I don't like that there is an omega-shaped cutout for the home button rather than a round cutout because the edges of the opening are already starting to lift (I just applied the protector). The mirrored screen distorts the colors. When you look at the screen from any indirect angle, you see a bit of irridescence and sometimes changes in colors similiar to what you see when looking at a laptop screen from an angle. Also, the screen does not appear as bright, so it's like looking at the screen through a tinted window. I don't think the changes in color/brightness are a problem, personally, except when looking at photos on the screen.

Lastly, I don't remember if the item descripton mentions it, but the screen protector comes with a small microfiber cloth and small (too small) piece of cardboard with which to smooth the screen protector on.
