The only drawback I found is the space for the USB cable on the case is slightly too small. The USB cable won't fit snugly into the iPod when the case is on it. If you want to hook up the iPod to your computer you have to take the iPod out of the case. It's really not a big deal!!!!!! It's the only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5.

The hole for the earphone jack is perfect. You will have no problems hooking up earphones with the case on. The case does not interfere with any other functions. The screen, virtual keyboard, and volume controls on the side of the iPod are all functional while the case is on the iPod.

This product ROCKS!!! It is a nice soft leather..does not look cheesy..keeps the screen and the back of the iPod from getting scratched. A magnetized tab holds the cover closed when you are not using it. It fits sweetly into a shirt pocket, a pants pocket, or a purse!!!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It works great and arrived really fast. The product description says leather. It really does not smell like leather, but still looks great and I was not expecting high quality leather at this price. -- Great for the money

I bought this case for my iPod Touch 3G based on other reviews. I hesitated because of the low price, but figured it was worth a shot.

The quality is excellent and much nicer than the price would suggest. The leather is soft, doesn't seem cheap, and the magnetic clasp is secure. However, while its appearance is nice, it's functionality leaves something to be desired.

As others have noted, there are no cut-outs to allow access to the side volume controls. You can still access them through the material, though. There is a cutout to attach the charger, *but it is too small.* Really, how long would it have taken the manufacturer to test a 3G in the case to see if the opening is big enough? I suppose with some work you may be able to stretch the leather opening to accommodate the charger.

However, the most troubling aspect of this case is it blocks the sensor on the iPod that automatically adjusts the iPod's brightness. I wasn't aware the iPod even did this until I tried to use my iPod when in this case. The screen was dark. I took the iPod out of the case and the screen instantly brightened.

If you are simply looking for a carrying case for your iPod, and will remove the iPod when you want to play it, I think you'll be pleased with this purchase. However, if you want to use your iPod without taking it out of the case, you'll probably be annoyed.

This is a very nice leather case, and it fits perfectly with the newest version of the iPod touch. The only problem is that you need to get the ipod off the case when you wanna charge it because the cable does not fit in the case. Otherwise it is very comfortable and it protects your iPod very well. It has a magnet that keeps it closed and easy to open at all times. -- Great Item!!
